Fred Burnham, D.M.D.

Dr. Burnham grew up in Moline, Illinois. After graduating from Augustana College he attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine and graduated as Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1977.

Dr. Burnham has been in private practice in Bettendorf, Iowa since returning to the Quad Cities in 1977. He served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Family Dentistry at the University of Iowa from 1987 - 2003 and was chosen as the “Instructor of the Year “ in 1991.

Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, The Pierre Fauchard Academy and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Dr. Burnham has served on the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Council on Third Party Reimbursement for the Iowa Dental Association. He has served as Past President of both the Davenport District Dental Association and the Scott County Dental Society. In 2011 he was given the “Outstanding Service Award” by the Iowa Dental Association.

Locally Dr. Burnham was Past President of the Augustana Research Foundation and currently is on the Executive Board of the Quad City Health Initiative and advisory boards of I-Smile and Give Kids a Smile.

Dr. Burnham has 3 grown children and resides in Davenport with his wife Martha.

Kyle D. Gagliardo, D.D.S.

Dr. Gagliardo grew up in Sherrard, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois, where he was a Bronze Tablet Scholar with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biophysics. Dr. Gagliardo went on to attend the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. in 1998.

Returning to the Quad Cities, Dr. Gagliardo joined Dr. Burnham in private practice while his wife Candace began her teaching career at Sherrard High School. Dr. Gagliardo participates in many volunteer activities including Give Kids A Smile, Volunteer Care Network, and the Mercer County Toothmobile. He is active in the ADA and IDA and is a past president of the Scott County Dental Society and Davenport District Dental Society. Dr. Gagliardo received the Iowa Dental Association New Dentist of the Year Award in 2005, and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He is the local chair for the Iowa Dental Association Mission of Mercy in 2012.

Kyle enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting and snow skiing. Kyle and Candace have two wonderful boys: Grant and Evan.
